Who's Headlining Stagecoach 2023? Here's Our Predictions!

We’re less than seven months away from Stagecoach! Set for April 28-30th, 2023, the festival will return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA for the sixteenth time. Country music fans from all over look to this event every year - to at least watch the global livestream, if not attend in person. The festival’s organizers have been teasing fans on all social media platforms, and we think it may have something to do with lineup announcements. Here’s our predictions for who will headline the festival’s 2023 lineup!

Brooks & Dunn

On Friday, Stagecoach posted the following video to their socials:

The use of Brooks & Dunn’s biggest hit, “Neon Moon,” and the choice to quote the song in the caption, makes it seem like Stagecoach is trying to tell us something. Due to these hints, the ACM Icon Award-winning duo could very well headline one of the festival’s three nights. Brooks & Dunn actually headlined the first ever Stagecoach in 2007, and we would love to see their return to the Mane Stage.

Kane Brown

Not too long ago, Brown announced his Drunk or Dreaming tour, which accompanies his brand new studio album “Different Man.” Several fans in the comments wondered why Brown didn’t include a Los Angeles date. However, take a look at the 4/29 date in the Instagram picture.

What could the horse possibly mean? He’s not going to write a city following April 29th, like he’s done with the other tour dates? Wait, we may have a theory…

Since April 29th is the second day of the festival, could Brown be the headliner on Saturday night? Stagecoach has yet to confirm or deny this officially, but their official account did comment a singular horse emoji under Brown’s post.

If we somehow got it right, maybe his opening acts (Dustin Lynch, Gabby Barrett, and Locash) would also have places in the lineup?

Miranda Lambert

From releasing her ninth studio album “Palomino,” to embarking on a U.S. tour this summer, to her new Vegas residency, Lambert has had an extremely successful year. She’s currently nominated for three CMA awards including Entertainer of the Year. Already set to headline two other country music festivals next year- Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, SC and Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, FL - Lambert could very well be adding Stagecoach to the list.

Lambert put on a spectacular performance when she previously headlined the festival in 2015 and 2012, and we hope she gets the opportunity to deliver another one! Throughout her career, which began more than a decade ago, Lambert has released several hits that have aged like fine wine. She’s demonstrated her ability to keep a crowd on their feet time and time again. We truly believe that Lambert is the ideal choice for a third headliner.

Whoever ends up headlining country music’s biggest festival in 2023, we have no doubt that it’ll be a great time. For sixteen years and counting, Stagecoach has proven that it knows how to throw a party. We absolutely cannot wait for next year’s festival!
