Willie Jones Proves There Is "No Tellin" Where Where The Country Music Spirit May Strike

The country music spirt can some from anywhere, and there is no better example than Willie Jones.

The Shreveport, Louisiana native first blasted on the scene with his critically acclaimed debut album Right Now, which featured his lauded single “American Dream.” Named one of the 12 Black Artists Shaping Country Music’s Future by USA Today.

Fast forward to today and Willie is once again is sharing what country music can be to him in his catchy new single No Tellin.

“I’ve had ‘No Tellin’’ ready for a while but it wasn't the right time," Willie said in a press release.

The rising star effortlessly blends his two loves, country music and hip hop, redesigning what the genre can be.

"Country music needs a club banger so I finally said to the team ‘Let’s drop it!’ I’ve tested it on tour and with my DJ’s homies and the reaction is always real swell. Shout out to Chris Stevens and my guy Mars who helped bring those drums to another new level," Jones shared.

It is hard not to bob your head to the uptempo bop. With the perfect balance of country soul and hip-hop beats, Willie shows that country music doesn't need to be put in a box. The innovative genre bender once again proves that country music doesn't need a sound, but a good story, and a lot of soul. Willie Jones and ‘No Tellin’’ is an inclusive jam that will bring even more fans to the genre.

You can catch Willie on the road with fellow genre bender RVSHVD for the STICKS AND SWAMP TOUR throughout the southeast with dates in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee during March and April. He’s also scheduled to perform during C2C Festival in Europe, Goldensky Festival in California, CMA Fest, and Bourbon & Beyond.
