Today the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame announced their list of nominees for their 2023 class! Among the many talented artists is none other than the grandfather of outlaw country Willie Nelson.


The hall of fame looking expand its definition of rock music with the likes of country artist Willie Nelson, who is only the second country artist to be considered. Last year, good friend of Wille's and country icon Dolly Parton was nominated and then inducted.


Willie Nelson who is on the edge of his 90th birthday has been eligible since the very first Rock Hall class in 1983, yet this is the first year he has been on the ballot!


John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation shared his excitement as well. "This remarkable list of Nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates. Rock and roll is a a spirt that is inclusive and ever changing."




Fans can vote now at HERE! The winners will be announced in May with a induction ceremony later this year!
