Spring has sprung, which can only mean one thing to country music fans: it's almost time for music festival season. In 2022 there are a TON of festivals featuring unique attractions and incredible lineups to choose from, so we've compiled our list of some of the biggest and best festivals to attend this summer to help you find the perfect destination for your country music get-away.

Stagecoach Music Festival | Indio, California, April 29th - May 1st

Kicking off our festival round-up is the Stagecoach Music Festival, April 29th - May 1st, 2022. The Stagecoach Festival is a three-day outdoor country music festival held annually at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Typically, the festival's genre ranges from mainstream country to folk, bluegrass, roots rock, and alternative country music. This year's lineup features headliners Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, and superstars Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne, The Black Crowes, Midland, Lee Brice, Brandi Carlile, Cody Johnson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Tanya Tucker, and many, many more throughout the weekend. In addition to a stellar lineup, this festival also features a variety of attractions, including Bud Light Seltzer Sessions, the Compton Cowboys, Diplo's Late Night, Guy Fieri's Stagecoach Smokehouse, a honky-tonk dance hall, Nikki Lane's Stage Stop Marketplace, and more! iHeartCountry Festival | Austin, Texas, May 7th

For the ninth straight year, the iHeartCountry Festival will return to Austin, Texas May 7th, with an incredible lineup of country music's biggest stars. Bobby Bones will host the festival featuring performers Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Maren Morris, Dustin Lynch, Jimmie Allen, Scotty McCreery, Cody Johnson, etc. Tickets for the event are found at Fans unable to attend the festivities in person can tune in and stream the 2022 iHeartCountry Festival on iHeartMedia's Country music radio stations in local markets across the country and on and the iHeartRadio app on May 7th at 8 pm ET.

CMA Music Festival | Nashville, Tennessee, June 9th-12th

One of the oldest festivals on this list, CMA Music Festival began in 1972 as "Fan Fair' in downtown Nashville. Today the event has grown to be the largest annual celebration of country music in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2022, CMA Fest will take place June 9th-12th, and while the lineup has been kept strictly under wraps, if past years are any indication, it is sure to feature household names and incredible talents. For CMA Fest, stages are set up in public areas across downtown Nashville. Past venue locations have included the Riverfront Park, Walk of Fame Park, the Bridgestone Arena Plaza, and more! The most significant events of the festival are the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium, which seats over 50,000 fans each night to enjoy incredible country music performances. Summerfest 2022 | Milwaukee, Wisconsin, June 23rd-25th, June 30th - July 2nd, and July 7th-9th, 2022

Summerfest, the goliath of music festivals, will take place over three weekends: June 23rd-25th, June 30th - July 2nd, and July 7th-9th, 2022. While the world's largest music festival is non-genre specific, some of country music's biggest names, such as Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Gabby Barrett, Dustin Lynch, Russell Dickerson, and more, will take the 12 stages of the fest in Downtown Milwaukee. The event also offers immersive experiences for festival-goers, including beachfront access, wine and cheese courtesy of Summerfest Corkscrew, and sports activities at the Buber Law Office Sportzone. Country Thunder Festivals

Country Thunder is bringing country music across the country and into Canada. Country Thunder is comprised of 7 regional music festivals in Florence, Arizona (April 7th - 10th), Forest City, Iowa (June 10th - 12th), Craven, Saskatchewan (July 14th -17th), Twin Lakes, Wisconsin (July 21st - 24th) Calgary, Alberta (August 19th - 21st) Bristol, Tennesse (September 30th - October 1st) Kissimmee, Florida (October 21st - 23rd). Morgan Wallen is set to headline all of the festivals except for Iowa. Florida Georgia Line will take the stage in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Albert, while Chris Young will perform in Iowa, Florida, and Wisconsin, and Lee Brice will perform in Iowa, Alberta, Wisconsin, and Saskatchewan. Other headliners include Blake Shelton, who is set to play in Arizona and Saskatchewan, and Jason Aldean, who will keep it southern and take the stage in Tennessee and Florida. Other artists expected at the festivals include HARDY, Lindsay Ell, Chase Rice, Gabby Barrett, Travis Tritt, and more! Tortuga Music Festival | Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, April 8th - 10th

Are you planning a holiday to the beach? Tortuga Music Festival has you covered! This three-day music festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is right on the white sands of Beach Park. This festival features some of the biggest names in country, rock, and roots music, including Morgan Wallen, Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, Nelly, Brothers Osborne, Jordan Davis, and more! Not only does this festival provide fans with an unforgettable beach weekend, but also a chance to raise awareness and funds for marine conservation. Palomino Festival | Pasadena, California, July 9th

If you are looking for something a bit less mainstream, Palomino Festival might be the festival you've been waiting for. This one-day festival promises to feature innovative, authentic, and boundary-pushing talent in country, folk, pop, bluegrass, and everything in between. Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson & Family, Jason Isbell, and the 400 Unit, Turnpike Troubadours, Orville Peck, and more have signed on for the inaugural Palomino Fest at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
