Your Country Christmas Round-Up

The Holiday Season is upon us and this year many of country music’s biggest stars have given us the gift of new country Christmas music!

From new albums, singles, covers and Holiday concerts, there is no shortage of new country music to get fans through the happiest time of the year. Whether you’re looking for a sound track to deck your halls or the perfect playlist for your Christmas party, there is something for everyone on this list!




Carrie Underwood released a special edition of her Christmas record, My Gift, which includes three brand new tracks: "Favorite Time of Year," "All is Well," and "Let There Be Peace/Something In The Water."


Kelly Clarkson announced a new Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around, along with a new single, "Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)." Clarkson's latest project is set for release on October 15 and marks her ninth studio album and second holiday project.



Pistol Annies, the trio comprised of Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley, and Ashley Monroe, announced their reunion for Hell Of A Holiday — the group's first Christmas record due on October 22. The project marks the group's first release since their 2018 Billboard Country Album chart-topper, Interstate Gospel.


Brett Young is joining the holiday festivities, cutting eight Christmas classics with country music friends for Brett Young & Friends Sing the Christmas Classics. The new collection is set to release October 22 and includes versions of "White Christmas," Slight Night," and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," among others. Maddie & Tae, Darius Rucker, Colbie Caillat, and producer Dann Huff are featured on the project. Accompanying the album is a television special, CMT Crossroads Christmas: Brett Young & Friends, slated to air in the weeks after the album release.


Brett Eldredge is Mr. Christmas for his upcoming album. The title track off the album was released recently along with album details and plans for a Holiday tour. Eldredge's record is also due on October 22, and follows his first holiday album, Glow, released in 2016. To celebrate the release of Mr. Christmas, Eldredge will hit the road for his Glow Live Tour in November, playing nine concerts across the country.


Josh Turner is dropping his first-ever Christmas album, King Size Manger, due on October 8. A month later, on November 18, he will celebrate the album with his supporting Holiday & The Hits Tour. The tour will take Turner to 16 cities and come to a close at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium a few days before Christmas, on December 20. Turner sat down with Backstage Bobbi to discuss the new album, family traditions and what is at the top of his Christmas list on the Country Confidential Podcast episode, “Country Christmas,” out on Monday, December 20th.



Mitchell Tenpenny released Naughty List, an eleven -song Christmas album, on October 29th. Reba released her latest holiday single, I Need Christmas on November 19th.


Carly Pearce dropped a passionate and emotional cover of the Christmas classic, "Mary Did You Know."


Randy Travis released his 1989 Christmas album An Old Time Christmas. The deluxe edition features never-before-heard tracks, “Little Toy Trains,” “There’s a New Kid in Town” and “White Christmas.”


Amanda Shires dropped her first-ever Christmas album, For Christmas with original songs like “Gone for Christmas” and holiday classics such as “Silent Night.”


Carrie Underwood also released a holiday anthem for foodies everywhere: “Stretchy Pants.” The new single has an accompanying music video which was released on November 11th earning her a second spot on this list!


Mickey Guyton released her own version of the Christmas carol “O Holy Night.”


Kelleigh Bannen teamed up with Brad Paisley for her new holiday single, “Last Year.”

Sam Williams released a new festive winter single, “Snow Angels.”


Raleigh Keegan released a soul filled rendition of Blue Christmas on December 3rd. Keegan also joins Backstage Bobbi to discuss his latest project and what Christmas means to him on the “Country Christmas” episode of the Country Confidential Podcast out Monday, December 20th.



Honey County released their fun cover of the hit song from the hit movie musical Frozen, “Do You Want To Build A Snowman.”


Jordan Rowe released his Christmas single, "Hometown Christmas." To hear more about Rowe’s single and the inspiration for the song, tune into the Country Confidential Podcast episode, “Country Christmas'', on Monday, December 20th.

Emma & Jolie released their new holiday song, "A Million Christmas Trees."
