49 Winchester Is Coming to Shake Up Your 2027 Plans With the Change of Plans Tour

Consider your concert calendar officially on notice. 49 Winchester is hitting the road in 2027, and the Change of Plans Tour is bringing plenty of country soul, Southern rock muscle and reasons to lose your voice singing along.

The 28-date headline run kicks off February 5 at The Eastern in Atlanta, travels through cities including Charlotte, Los Angeles, Boston and Austin, and finishes May 8 at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth. There’s also a two-night stand at Asheville’s The Orange Peel, because sometimes one night simply won’t cut it.
For fans who like their country with grit in its teeth and a little extra horsepower, this is a calendar-clearing situation.
A Band Built for the Stage
49 Winchester has earned its following the road-tested way: show up, play hard and give people a reason to come back with friends.
Led by singer-songwriter Isaac Gibson, the band brings Appalachian heart, sharp storytelling and a sound that leaves plenty of room for both pedal steel and a roaring guitar. Alongside Gibson are Bus Shelton on lead guitar, Chase Chafin on bass, Noah Patrick on pedal steel, Tim Hall on keys and Justin Louthian on drums.
That combination gives these songs room to move. There’s heartache in the writing, soul in the delivery and enough firepower behind it all to turn a room full of strangers into a very loud choir.
The tour shares its name with Change of Plans, the band’s latest album, executive produced by Dave Cobb, whose credits include Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson. Recorded at Cobb’s Savannah, Georgia, studio, the project expands the band’s sound while holding tight to the raw storytelling and Southern grit that brought fans aboard.
Now those songs are getting some serious road miles.
