Billy Currington & Kip Moore Plot a Summer of Contrast on 2026 Live In Concert Tour

The calendar may say 2026, but the soundtrack is already set to summer.

Two artists who have built their careers on very different corners of the same emotional highway, barefoot-on-the-sand nostalgia and back-against-the-amp intensity are about to share a stage.

Today, multi-platinum hitmaker Billy Currington and road-warrior rocker Kip Moore announced the Live In Concert Tour, a 16-city run that promises a night where cold beer melodies meet arena-ready grit.

The tour launches June 5 in Hinckley, Minnesota and stretches across the country before its September 12 finale in Richmond, Virginia, a coast-to-coast trek built less like a package tour and more like a musical contrast study.

Two versions of summer

Currington has spent two decades perfecting the feeling of a rolled-down window — breezy hooks, sun-washed romance and choruses engineered for strangers to sing together. His concerts don’t just feature hits; they feel like collective memory. You don’t attend a Currington show so much as fall into it.

Moore, meanwhile, lives on the opposite side of the emotional spectrum. His shows pulse with urgency, guitars pushed to the edge, vocals delivered like confessionals shouted over highway noise. Where Currington invites you to exhale, Moore asks you to feel something you’ve been avoiding.

Put them together and the night gains dimension: the soundtrack of the beach followed by the soundtrack of the drive home.

Special guests Kenny Whitmire and Alex Lambert round out the bill, giving the evening an opening chapter before the headliners trade emotional temperature swings.

The experience, not just the lineup

This isn’t nostalgia packaged neatly for radio listeners — it’s a live-music architecture built on contrast. The setlist pacing alone could define the tour: breezy singalong → emotional punch → cathartic finale. Fans won’t just hear songs they grew up with; they’ll hear them reframed beside a different philosophy of country music performance.

Country tours often group sonic similarity. This one leans into difference — and that’s precisely why it works.

Tickets & presale

Fan club presales for both artists begin February 18 at 10 AM EST. Additional presales roll out throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning Friday, February 20 at 10 AM local time (varies by market). Details and city-specific timing are available through LiveNation listings.

In a genre that thrives on storytelling, this tour feels like a full narrative arc — sunset calm followed by midnight reflection. And if country music has always been about the distance between who we were and who we’re becoming, these two artists will cover every mile of it in one night.
