Cloud 9 for $9: Megan Moroney Announces Nine-Dollar Pop-Up Tour

Country music has never met a party theme quite like this.

To celebrate the release of her new album Cloud 9, Megan Moroney is taking things to new heights, and keeping it delightfully on-brand. Nine shows. Nine cities. Nine dollars. Yes, you read that right.

Dubbed the ultimate “Cloud 9” victory lap, Moroney is hitting the road for a limited run of intimate pop-up performances across the country, with tickets priced at just $9. In an era of triple-digit ticket costs and blink-and-you-miss-it presales, the Georgia native is flipping the script and inviting fans to celebrate with her up close and personal.

And she’s not just dropping into major markets. She’s making it a full cross-country moment.

The nine-date run kicks off February 20 in New York City before weaving through Richmond, Nashville, Athens, Newport, Kansas City, Denver, and Salt Lake City, before wrapping in Scottsdale on February 28. Select dates (marked with a heart) promise intimate acoustic performances of three songs from Cloud 9, while one stop teases a surprise event. If you like your country music with a side of spontaneity, consider this your heads-up.

Tickets will be available at each venue’s box office beginning at 9:00 a.m. local time on the morning of the show. There’s a two-ticket limit per person, and in true Moroney fashion, a portion of proceeds will benefit The Megan Moroney Foundation. Affordable and philanthropic? We love a queen who multitasks.

But make no mistake, this isn’t just a budget-friendly tour. It’s a statement.

Moroney has spent the last few years cementing her place as one of country music’s sharpest storytellers, pairing diary-level honesty with a wink of Southern sass. With Cloud 9, she’s leaning into the momentum, and instead of celebrating from a distance, she’s choosing to toast the moment shoulder-to-shoulder with the fans who helped get her here.

Nine shows. Nine bucks. No frills, just the songs and the magic that made her a star.

If that’s not living on Cloud 9, we’re not sure what is.
