Craig Campbell and Bradley Gaskin Shine at Inaugural Kenny Campbell Foundation Benefit Concert at the Ryman

Updated: Aug 4

On a night steeped in heart, harmony, and honky-tonk soul, country artists Craig Campbell and Bradley Gaskin lit up the historic Ryman Auditorium last Thursday for the first-ever Kenny Campbell Foundation Benefit Concert, raising over $10,000 for colorectal and colon cancer research and awareness.

The evening, hosted by beloved TV personality Nan Kelley and WPAP-FM’s Shane Collins, brought together a powerhouse lineup of rising stars and country favorites. Fans were treated to unforgettable performances by Hailey Benedict, Preslee Campbell, Tayler Holder, Mattie Pruitt, Michael Ray, Jason Sturgeon, and Bryan White, all joining forces in the name of a deeply personal cause.

The night marked a full-circle moment for Craig Campbell, who launched the Kenny Campbell Foundation in honor of his father, who passed away from colorectal cancer at just 36 years old. The benefit concert wasn’t just a show — it was a tribute, a celebration, and a call to action.

Headlining the Ryman was magical,” Campbell shared following the show. “Not only was a lot of money raised for the Kenny Campbell Foundation, I did it with people I love. Thank you to Bradley for buying into this crazy idea, to all the artists who donated their time, and to everyone behind the scenes who made this happen!”

Joining Campbell at center stage, Bradley Gaskin brought his signature grit and southern charm, tipping his hat to the legacy of the Ryman and the mission behind the night.

There ain’t a better stage to stand and perform on in the whole world,” Gaskin said. “It was great country music for a great cause — a charity near and dear to our friend Craig. What a night!”

Adding to the night’s magic, Original Grain, known for their craftsmanship and meaningful collaborations, gifted each performing artist a limited-edition timepiece crafted from the original Ryman floorboards — a tangible piece of country music history. One special watch was also raffled off, adding another generous boost to the evening’s fundraising efforts.

At its core, the Kenny Campbell Foundation is more than a nonprofit. It’s a movement — a fight for those who’ve faced the devastating impact of colorectal cancer and a mission to fuel the doctors and researchers working tirelessly toward a cure. As one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths, colorectal cancer remains a silent threat, but thanks to events like this, the silence is being broken with the power of country music and community.

One thing is certain: when country music shows up for a cause, it shows up big. And at the Ryman last week, they showed up for Kenny.

The event also marked the launch of Craig Campbell's brand new Vanilla + Latte Good Scentiments candle named MISSING YOU! Signs featuring Craig Campbell laying on a couch surrounded by coffee beans, casually playing his guitar next to his candle lined the staircase of The Ryman. Check it out:
