DOLLYFEST will unite artists and fans across Nashville and London for two star-studded weekends honoring the global icon in 2027.
Dolly Parton dreamed of throwing a party unlike anything the world had ever seen, and now, that dream is officially becoming a reality.
The Estate of Dolly Parton has announced DOLLYFEST: The Celebration of a Lifetime, a massive, Team Dolly-produced festival set to take over Nashville, Tennessee, and London, England, across two consecutive weekends in 2027.
That means two days, two weekends, two continents and two of the world’s biggest music capitals, all coming together to honor one of the most beloved artists and cultural icons of all time.
But DOLLYFEST isn’t simply another tribute. The event was originally envisioned by Parton herself as a multi-artist celebration surrounding her 80th birthday in Nashville in January 2026. Dolly was expected to serve as both performer and host before health challenges forced her to step back in August 2025.
Now, the celebration she started will move forward on an even larger, more global scale.
“What Dolly started, we will ensure is brought to life,” Danny Nozell, founder and CEO of CTK Enterprises, shared in the announcement.
According to Nozell, plans for the original Nashville event were already well underway, with a venue booked and an official announcement prepared.
“Many people behind the scenes know that DOLLYFEST is a dream of Dolly’s that was intended to take place on her 80th birthday in Nashville,” he explained. “A lot of people always say, WWDD—What Would Dolly Do?—and, well, at this moment, DOLLYFEST is WDWD: What Dolly Would Do!”
Rather than holding a traditional memorial, Dolly’s team will honor her in the way she wanted: through music, joy, community and one unforgettable celebration.
While numerous events and programs are expected to recognize Parton this fall, DOLLYFEST will stand apart as the official festival-style celebration created by Team Dolly and inspired by her own vision.
“As far as a traditional memorial goes, that is not something Dolly wanted,” Nozell said. “It feels more appropriate for us to take a beat, let all the tributes that immediately make sense occur naturally, and then see through this festival-style concept that was truly dreamed up by Dolly.”
The decision to stage DOLLYFEST in both Nashville and London reflects the extraordinary reach of Parton’s legacy. Nashville represents the heart of her country music story, while London offers international fans the opportunity to take part in a celebration designed for the entire world.
Specific dates, venues, ticket information and the highly anticipated artist lineup have not yet been revealed—but with the festival being billed as a “star-studded” celebration, expectations are already sky-high.
“This is something that is authentic to her,” Nozell added. “Something that feels right to me, and something that artists and fans around the world can participate in, while also giving everyone time to grieve and giving everyone time to plan.”
One thing is already certain: DOLLYFEST won’t be a quiet goodbye.
It will be colorful, musical, joyful and larger than life, exactly the kind of party Dolly Parton wanted to share with the world.
