The Drum Pod returns, the arenas are back, and Garth Brooks is ready to make history all over again. Thirty years after changing the concert industry forever, Garth Brooks is officially bringing back one of the most iconic tours in country music history.

Fresh off his massive, sold-out performance at London's Hyde Park, Brooks has announced the Blame It All On My Roots Tour, a brand-new arena run that marks the long-awaited return of the legendary Drum Pod stage, a production that revolutionized live entertainment in the 1990s and helped cement Brooks as one of the greatest entertainers of all time.
The tour launches with two nights at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on August 21 and 22, and fans can expect something far more intimate than the stadium spectacles Brooks has become known for.
The Drum Pod Is Back
For longtime fans, those two words say everything.
When Garth first introduced the Drum Pod during his groundbreaking 1996 arena tour, it completely reimagined what a country concert could be. The innovative production brought Brooks closer to fans while delivering a larger-than-life experience that inspired countless artists who followed.
Those unforgettable performances eventually became Double Live, now certified 25-times Platinum by the RIAA and still the biggest-selling live album in music history.
The era also helped earn Brooks consecutive CMA Entertainer of the Year trophies and two Artist of the Decadehonors.
Now, three decades later, he's bringing it all back.
"Every Seat Is a Great Seat"
While stadium tours have become the norm for Brooks, the country superstar says this return to arenas is all about reconnecting with fans.
"Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box," Brooks shared. "The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal."
It's a bold move from an artist who has sold out some of the biggest venues on the planet, and one that feels perfectly timed as '90s country continues its massive resurgence.
There's Another Surprise...
The concerts won't just be remembered—they'll be recorded.
The Blame It All On My Roots Tour will serve as the foundation for Killer Live, Brooks' newest live recording project that continues his tradition of capturing lightning-in-a-bottle performances for fans around the world.
If history repeats itself, fans may be witnessing the birth of another landmark live album.

Why This Tour Feels Different
Country music has spent the last several years celebrating the sound and spirit of the 1990s. But while countless artists have paid tribute to that era, Garth Brooks is the artist who helped define it.
Now, instead of asking fans to relive the memories, he's inviting them to make brand-new ones, back inside the arenas where country music history was written.
If the Hyde Park crowd was any indication, Garth Brooks isn't simply revisiting the past.
He's about to create another unforgettable chapter.
