Josh Rosh Announces Debut Album Later Tonight Coming September 19

Updated: Jul 21

Rising global country star Josh Ross is officially entering his album era! Today, the MCA / Mercury Nashville / Universal Music Canada / CORE Records artist announced Later Tonight, his long-awaited debut full-length album, arriving September 19. The 15-track project captures the dark, driving, emotionally raw sound that has powered Ross from breakout newcomer to CCMA Entertainer of the Year — and one of country's most exciting new voices.

Featuring his chart-climbing smash “Single Again” (currently sitting pretty at #2 on U.S. Country Radio) and previously released fan favorites like “Hate How You Look” and “Leave Me Too,” the album cements Ross as a master of heartbreak, vulnerability, and late-night reflection. Today, he gives fans their first taste of the full collection with the release of the title track “Later Tonight” — an atmospheric slow burn that showcases Ross’s trademark rock-tinged edge and lyrical honesty.

“The title of this record, and the title track, became the thread that tied this project together over the last couple of years,” says Ross. “We dug deep writing for this album, leaning into getting caught in your feelings, breaking up, making up. No matter what, all roads led back to ‘Later Tonight.’”

Produced by longtime collaborator Matt Geroux — the architect behind Ross’s Complicated EP, which earned him a 2025 JUNO Award — Later Tonight is a full-circle moment for the Canada-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter. From the brooding intensity of “Smith & Wesson” to the Akon-assisted banger “Drunk Right Now (Na Na Na)”, the album moves seamlessly between introspection and adrenaline, heartbreak and healing.

RACKING UP NOMINATIONS & TAKING OVER STAGES

Ross's star is only rising! Earlier this week, he snagged six CCMA nominations, including Fans' Choice, Entertainer of the Year, and Male Artist of the Year — tying fellow Canadian artist Cameron Whitcomb as the most-nominated act of the year.

He’s also fresh off a massive tour with Jelly Roll and will stay on the road through the end of 2025 with festival dates and a fall run supporting Dylan Scott. From Nashville to Saskatoon and everywhere in between, Ross is building a global fanbase one show at a time.
