Kenny Chesney Just Revealed His Massive 2027 Stadium Tour, and the Lineup Is Absolutely Loaded
Just when fans thought Kenny Chesney might be settling into life inside the Sphere, the country superstar is going bigger, much bigger.
After spending two years captivating Las Vegas audiences and selling nearly 400,000 tickets at Sphere Las Vegas, Chesney is officially returning to the open-air stadiums where No Shoes Nation first became a summer phenomenon. His newly announced Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 will bring him to 19 stadiums alongside two legendary special guests: Eric Church and Sheryl Crow.
Rising East Tennessee singer-songwriter Greylan James will open the shows, completing a lineup built for long summer nights, loud guitars and stadium-sized singalongs.
The tour begins April 24 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and concludes August 28 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Kenny Chesney Is Going Back Where He Belongs
Chesney’s immersive Sphere performances may have introduced an entirely new way to experience his music, but nothing can quite replace the roar of a packed football stadium.
As conversations about 2027 began, Chesney found himself thinking about the speed, volume and unmistakable electricity of his stadium concerts. The reaction from fans online made the decision even easier: It was time to take No Shoes Nation back outside.
“When we started to talk about touring next year, all I could think about was how good those stadiums feel,” Chesney shared. “I don’t think I knew how much I missed it.”
Instead of mixing arenas, amphitheaters and festivals into the schedule, Chesney decided to go all in. Every stop on the Original Vibe Room Tour will take place inside a stadium.
For an artist whose songs have soundtracked countless summers, that feels exactly right.
Eric Church Is Reuniting With Chesney for the Entire Tour
The news gets even bigger with the return of one of Chesney’s most celebrated touring partners.
Eric Church will join the Original Vibe Room Tour for its full 19-date run, reuniting the country heavyweights more than a decade after Church appeared on Chesney’s massive 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour.
Their history extends well beyond sharing a poster. During that tour, Church regularly returned to the stage to sing with Chesney, creating the unpredictable, collaborative moments that turned each concert into its own event.
The pair recently recaptured some of that chemistry when Church joined Chesney during the opening weekend of his Las Vegas run. When Chesney began assembling his 2027 stadium lineup, Church was one of his first calls, and he quickly agreed.
With Church bringing his raw, hard-charging live show to every stop, fans should prepare for more than two separate sets. Given their history, surprise collaborations will certainly be on everyone’s wish list.
Sheryl Crow Brings a Rock-and-Roll Twist
As if Chesney and Church were not enough, Sheryl Crow is also coming along for the ride.

of hits, and a serious dose of rock-and-roll firepower to the summer tour.
Crow’s addition gives the lineup a compelling twist without feeling out of place. Her guitar-driven catalog, easygoing spirit and reputation as a magnetic live performer should fit naturally alongside Chesney’s breezy anthems and Church’s rebellious edge.
Chesney also made it clear that this lineup was built around genuine friendship. All three artists know one another, love performing and understand how to command the biggest stages in the country.

The Tour’s Name Goes Back to Where It All Started
The Original Vibe Room Tour may be new, but its name reaches back to a defining chapter in Chesney’s career.
In 2002, as the No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems era launched him toward superstardom, Chesney created the original Vibe Room. It served as a backstage gathering place where musicians, friends and guests could grab a drink, reconnect and meet new people.
More than two decades later, Chesney wants to bring that same welcoming atmosphere into every stadium.
“This time, with these people, I want everyone in the Vibe,” he explained.
The concept also reflects the energy surrounding the upcoming tour. For Chesney, the excitement feels similar to those early years when his career exploded, his crowds grew and his concerts became annual summertime traditions.
Now he is revisiting that feeling with more music, more memories and an audience that has grown alongside him.
Several Stadiums Have Become Second Homes
Although the tour will introduce Chesney to a pair of new college stadiums, much of the schedule reads like a homecoming tour for No Shoes Nation.
The 2027 run will include Chesney’s first concerts at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville, North Carolina, home of the East Carolina Pirates and Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, where the Iowa State Cyclones play.
Elsewhere, Chesney will return to venues that have played enormous roles in his touring history.
Gillette Stadium will host the tour’s closing night after previously welcoming Chesney for 24 concerts. The upcoming run will also mark his 13th year playing stadiums in Pittsburgh and Detroit, his 12th stadium appearance in Philadelphia and his ninth visits to stadiums in New Jersey, the Dallas–Fort Worth area and Kansas City.
Tampa and Chicago will each welcome Chesney for an eighth stadium concert.
For Chesney, these football venues no longer feel like occasional tour stops. They have become part of No Shoes Nation’s history.
The parking lots, tailgates and massive communal singalongs helped transform his fanbase into something closer to a traveling summer family. In 2027, that family is getting back together.
New Music Will Meet the Songs Fans Grew Up With
The Original Vibe Room Tour will also give Chesney an opportunity to bring his newest music to the biggest possible stage.
Songs from his new album, Silver Sands Marina, will join a setlist already stacked with hits, fan favorites and warm-weather anthems. Chesney specifically pointed to the response surrounding the album’s first single, “Carry On,” as proof that listeners are ready for this next era.
Still, longtime fans can expect the classics to remain at the heart of the show.
Chesney described the upcoming concerts as a celebration of songs people have lived their lives to, and his catalog offers no shortage of them. From carefree beach escapes to reflective ballads and full-throttle party starters, the 2027 setlist has the potential to span generations of No Shoes Nation memories.
Greylan James Will Open the Show
Chesney is also bringing another East Tennessee talent along for the journey.
Singer-songwriter Greylan James will open the stadium shows following an impressive run as both a recording artist and a behind-the-scenes hitmaker.
James earned an Academy of Country Music Song of the Year award and a CMA Song of the Year nomination for co-writing Jordan Davis’ “Next Thing You Know.” His songwriting credits also include cuts recorded by Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker and Chesney himself.
He has also begun carving out his own place on country radio, reaching the Top 20 with “Water At A Wedding.”
With James opening, Crow supplying the rock-and-roll swagger, Church bringing the fire and Chesney leading the celebration, the Original Vibe Room Tour is shaping up to be one of 2027’s biggest country events.
