A Texas-Sized Soundscape

Postcards From Texas is a 14-track collection that embodies the rich musical heritage of the Lone Star State. Recorded at Austin's legendary Arlyn Recording Studios, the album captures the essence of Texas with its diverse styles and stories. Lambert, alongside producer Jon Randall, has crafted a musical journey that ranges from yearning ballads to discordant rockers, sparkling acoustic songs, and steel guitar-soaked laments.

The album kicks off with "Armadillo," a track co-written by Aaron Raitiere, Jon Decious, and Park Twomey, setting the tone for an album steeped in Texas culture. Lambert’s signature storytelling shines through in tracks like "Dammit Randy," co-written with her husband Brendan McLoughlin and Jon Randall, and "Looking Back on Luckenbach," penned alongside Shane McAnally and Natalie Hemby.

This track is a perfect blend of Lambert’s and McCollum’s distinctive voices, promising to be a standout on the album. Other notable tracks include "I Hate Love Songs," co-written with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall, and "Wildfire," another collaboration with Ingram and Randall that showcases Lambert's ability to channel raw emotion into her music.
