According to a press release, Wallen’s I’m The Problem has launched a full-throttle global takeover, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and sending shockwaves across the Billboard Hot 100 by claiming the top three spots, a first for any country artist in chart history. Leading the charge is his pop-country duet with Tate McRae, “What I Want,” sitting pretty at No. 1, followed by “Just In Case” and the album’s title track, “I’m The Problem.” That’s not just a chart climb, that’s a domination.
And the milestones don’t stop there.
In true overachiever fashion, Wallen has smashed his own record for the most simultaneous entries on the Hot 100 with every single track off I’m The Problem, that’s 37 songs, charting this week. All gas, no brakes indeed.
This chart-topper isn’t just an American phenomenon either. The album debuted at No. 1 in seven countries, including his first No. 1 debuts in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, and Scotland, plus his second No. 1 debut in Canada.
In a statement shared via Official Charts, Wallen reflected on the UK milestone, where I’m The Problem made a historic leap compared to his previous release. "One Thing At A Time debuted at #40 and I'm The Problem is debuting at #1 only two years apart. I am so grateful and humbled my music is connecting in a place where we have spent time and worked to build a real and meaningful relationship with our fans there. Thank you guys so much.”
This UK No. 1 debut places Wallen in elite company, joining the ranks of Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Post Malone, and Beyoncé, artists who’ve also managed to bow at the top of the UK’s Official Charts with a country album.
Back stateside, I’m The Problem has now become Wallen’s third album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and, according to the press release, it had the largest streaming week of any album in 2025 so far in both the U.S. and Canada.
And let’s not forget, his last two albums, Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time, have both lived in the Billboard 200’s Top 10 for over 100 weeks each, making Wallen the first artist in history to pull off that kind of chart endurance. With these latest feats, Wallen isn’t just topping charts, he’s rewriting them. And if I’m The Problem is any indication, he’s only just getting started.
