Grab your sunscreen and your cowboy boots, Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival is officially making waves once again. The beloved three-day coastal celebration will return to the sandy shores of Fort Lauderdale Beach from April 10–12, 2026, promising another sun-soaked weekend where country meets coastline and music lovers trade bar stools for beach chairs.

Now in its 13th year, Tortuga is bringing out the heavy hitters. Headlining the 2026 edition are none other than Post Malone, Riley Green, and the man who practically defines “coastal country,” Kenny Chesney.
Kenny Chesney Returns to His Beachfront Kingdom
For Chesney, Tortuga is more than just another festival, it’s home turf. Having headlined the inaugural event back in 2013, the “American Kids” singer will make his fifth appearance at the festival next April.
"I love everything about Tortuga, starting with that very first year! To be on the Atlantic Ocean with all that beach, the sea to one side and A1A to the other is everything this music is made of and the people who've been coming out every time we've played there are my kind of people,” Chesney shared. "Work hard, play harder and have fun while loving everyone in the space is a good way to be, and I can't wait to get there next April.”
A Lineup As Bold As The View
True to form, Tortuga 2026 delivers a genre-spanning, star-studded roster that balances beachside bliss with heartland grit. Alongside its powerhouse headliners, fans can look forward to performances from Russell Dickerson, Flatland Cavalry, Ashley Cooke, Lukas Nelson, Brittney Spencer, Dustin Lynch, Amanda Shires, Dwight Yoakam, and Shane Smith & The Saints, just to name a few.

There’s no shortage of variety either: from The Fray’s anthemic hooks to Afroman’s throwback energy, Uncle Kracker’s laid-back nostalgia, and G. Love & Special Sauce’s bluesy swagger, Tortuga continues to blend genres as smoothly as a frozen margarita. Emerging artists like Chayce Beckham, Graham Barham, Josh Ross, and Owen Riegling will also take the stage, proving that the festival remains as much about discovery as it is about celebration.
More Than Music But A Mission
Beyond the beats and beach parties, Tortuga has long been a festival with purpose. Produced in partnership with Live Nation, it benefits Rock The Ocean, an organization dedicated to ocean conservation and marine awareness. Over the past decade, the event has helped raise millions for ocean preservation, turning a party in the sand into a movement for the sea.
The Countdown Is On
With its unbeatable location, passionate fanbase, and unmatched energy, Tortuga isn’t just a festival, it’s a rite of spring for country fans and beachgoers alike. Tickets go on sale Saturday, October 18 at 10 a.m. ET, and if history tells us anything, they won’t last long.
So pack your flip-flops, your hat, and maybe your fishing pole, Tortuga 2026 is gearing up to be one for the record books. Because when Kenny Chesney hits the stage and Post Malone brings his cross-genre swagger to the surf, the only thing hotter than the Florida sun will be the music itself.
