RODEOHOUSTON Saddles Up for 2026 With a Genre-Bending, Star-Studded Lineup

RODEOHOUSTON doesn’t just announce a lineup, it throws down a statement. And for 2026, that statement is loud, sprawling, and unapologetically big.

From March 2–22, the world’s largest livestock show and rodeo will once again take over NRG Stadium, turning Houston into the epicenter of live music where country tradition rubs shoulders with pop royalty, Southern rock grit, and global superstardom.

This year’s entertainer lineup reads like a cross-section of modern American music, stitched together by rodeo dust and Texas-sized ambition. It’s a calendar that honors legacy while betting boldly on the now.

The run kicks off March 2 with Riley Green, whose brand of backwoods storytelling sets the tone for a month rooted in authenticity. From there, RODEOHOUSTON wastes no time flexing its range. Global hitmaker J Balvin follows on March 3, underscoring the rodeo’s continued embrace of Houston’s multicultural heartbeat.

Country mainstays anchor the middle of the month. Rascal Flatts return on March 4, bringing arena-sized nostalgia, while Dwight Yoakam (March 7) reminds everyone why Bakersfield twang still cuts sharp decades later. Luke Bryan rolls in on March 9 with his signature blend of charm and chart-toppers, followed by Megan Moroney on March 10, a nod to the genre’s next generation of sharp, emotionally incisive voices.

The lineup’s back half is stacked with heavy hitters and fan favorites. Chris Stapleton takes the stage March 12, a night destined to feel more like revival than concert. Kelly Clarkson (March 14) brings powerhouse vocals and crossover appeal, while Pepe Aguilar (March 15) continues the rodeo’s tradition of celebrating regional and cultural influence.

Then there’s the grit. Koe Wetzel storms NRG Stadium on March 18, followed by reigning Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson on March 19, whose bell-bottom bravado and Louisiana drawl have made her one of country’s most compelling modern stars. Parker McCollum (March 20) keeps Texas pride front and center before Tim McGraw closes out the final weekend on March 21, delivering the kind of legacy performance that defines RODEOHOUSTON history.

And on March 22, Cody Johnson brings it home, a fitting finale from an artist who embodies the rodeo spirit as much as any performer of his generation.

Sprinkled throughout are moments that speak to RODEOHOUSTON’s evolving identity: Lizzo on March 6 for Black Heritage Day, Shaboozey on March 13, roots-rock firebrands The Red Clay Strays on March 17, and genre-blurring stalwarts like Cross Canadian Ragweed making long-awaited returns. Each night feels carefully curated, not just booked.

What makes the 2026 lineup resonate isn’t just its star power, it’s the storytelling across the calendar. This is a rodeo that understands its role as both cultural institution and living, breathing reflection of Texas itself. Traditionalists, first-timers, and genre explorers all have a seat in the stands.

For three weeks in March, RODEOHOUSTON will once again prove why it’s more than a rodeo and more than a concert series. It’s a rite of spring, a crossroads of sound, and a reminder that in Houston, the biggest stages are built for everyone willing to ride.
