Who Will Be Taking the Stage Next? CMT Music Awards Reveals More Exciting Performers

The 2024 “CMT MUSIC AWARDS,” airing April 7th LIVE on CBS from Austin’s Moody Center.




Today, country music fans get another sneak peak into what is in store for this year's CMT Music Awards. Five more superstars have been already to the already stacked performances for this year's star studded awards.


Texas native and cowboy, Cody Johnson will be taking the stage for a high octane performance. world premiere performance of “That’s Texas” off his latest album Leather. Tied for most nominations this year, Cody will look to add 3 more belt buckles to his collection, including a win in the night’s biggest category, “Video of the Year.”


Everyone's favorite emo cowgirl Megan Moroney will also be joining the list of superstar performers. She will mark her CMT main stage debut with a televised world premiere performance of record-setting fan favorite “No Caller ID” and a second appearance alongside Old Dominion for their chart-rising collaboration “Can’t Break Up Now.”


Parker McCollum will also be taking the stage in his home state. Teaming up with powerhouse songstress Brittney Spencer for an electrifying performance of “Burn It Down.” This marks Spencer’s first CMT main stage appearance and first nomination in the “Breakthrough Female Video of the Year” category. 


These five new performers join previously announced performers Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Jordan Davis, host Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, NEEDTOBREATHE, Sam Hunt and Trisha Yearwood. Additional performers, presenters and details about the 2024 CMT MUSIC AWARDS on CBS will be announced soon.
