Carly Pearce is ready to tell her story like never before.
The GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM Award-winning country star officially announced her highly anticipated fifth studio album, Honest Woman, set for release on August 28 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Alongside the announcement, Pearce unveiled the album’s latest offering, “She Don’t,” a clever, sharp-tongued track that showcases exactly why she remains one of country music’s strongest storytellers.

Built around Pearce’s signature blend of traditional country instrumentation and conversational lyricism, “She Don’t” finds her delivering a biting narrative with equal parts confidence and charm. The song’s tongue-in-cheek attitude feels tailor-made for fans who have embraced Pearce’s knack for turning real-life experiences into memorable country anthems. While playful on the surface, the track also highlights the emotional honesty that serves as the backbone of Honest Woman.
The newly released song offers another compelling preview of an album that promises to blend vulnerability, wit, and classic country craftsmanship in a way only Pearce can.
Finding Herself Again
Co-produced by Pearce and longtime collaborator Ben West, Honest Woman marks a creative homecoming for the Kentucky native. Throughout the 16-track collection, Pearce leans heavily into the classic country and bluegrass sounds that first inspired her musical journey.
Featuring collaborations with Riley Green, Dan Tyminski, and Molly Tuttle, the album embraces authentic musicianship while chronicling the highs, lows, and lessons that come with life’s evolving chapters.
“When I started making Honest Woman, I found myself rediscovering who I am and why I wanted to be a country music singer in the first place,” Pearce shared. “This album takes me back to the beginning of my story, where the sounds of classic country and bluegrass music shaped who I am. I’m so proud of this body of work, and I truly feel like it’s my best yet.”
The result is an album that reflects not only where Pearce has been, but also where she’s headed, a candid portrait of a woman embracing every version of herself.
Nashville Was Already Talking
Long before today’s official announcement, fans had begun connecting the dots.
During CMA Fest earlier this month, the phrase “Honest Woman” seemed to appear everywhere across Nashville. It surfaced at Pearce’s “Carly’s Closet” charity pop-up, which raised $20,000 for the CMA Foundation, as well as outside her CMA Artist of the Day panel moderated by Lady A’s Hillary Scott.
The mysterious phrase also appeared around Pearce’s various CMA Fest performances, including appearances at Nissan Stadium, Billboard Live at Category 10, SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour, and Spotify House.
As speculation grew among fans, many correctly guessed that Honest Woman would become the title of Pearce’s next musical chapter.
A Collection Built on Vulnerability
While “She Don’t” serves as the latest preview, several previously released tracks will also appear on Honest Woman.
Among them is Pearce’s current single with Riley Green, “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay.” The album also includes fan favorites like the playful and biting “You Can Have Him,” the deeply personal “Church Girl,” and the reflective “Dream Come True.”
Together, the songs paint a picture of an artist entering what many critics have already described as her most vulnerable era yet.

Taking Honest Woman On The Road
To celebrate the release, Pearce will embark on a special series of intimate residency-style performances dubbed the Honest Woman: Up Close Tour, presented by Conundrum Wines.
The run begins with two nights in Detroit on September 10 and will make stops in Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, and New York City. Rising artist Belle Frantz will join as support on select dates.
Unlike a traditional arena tour, these smaller venues will allow fans to experience Pearce’s new music in a more personal setting, an approach that perfectly aligns with the album’s reflective and deeply honest themes.
