Today, Nashville based sisters Nata and Tinka Morris are bringing come welcomed girl power to their new heartfelt song "Why Girl." The uplifting track offers up the best that pop country has to offer, engaging lyrics, a clever point of view and a poignat message.
Like advice from a best friend, the duo offers up some well needed and earnest advice. Rattling off excuses that we often give ourselves to give ourselfs to stay, the sisters remind us why it is so important to put ourselves first. “We spent our time doing rounds and getting in rooms to write with as many people as possible. Our songwriting has improved tremendously, being off the road… We’ve learned to be more vulnerable and honest about what’s going on in life. “We’re really proud of where things are headed. We’ve never been more ourselves, and that shows in our music," the sisters share of their new music.
“‘Why Girl’ is for the girls that need a little reminder that they are worth so much more than they are putting up with! This song was written as a message coming from a ‘big sister’ or ‘true friend’ to the girl who needs to stop settling and fall in love with herself first," the duo told All Country News.
