Dolly Parton’s New Nashville Hotel and Museum Are Officially Open, and You Will Want to See Inside
With 240 rooms, live music and an immersive museum dedicated to Dolly’s extraordinary life, Music City’s newest destination belongs on every Dolly fan’s wish list.
Your next Nashville getaway just got a whole lot more Dolly.

Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum are officially open in downtown Nashville, giving fans a chance to check in, settle in and step inside the story of the woman who made dreaming big an art form.
A hotel inspired by Dolly? That already had our attention. Add a museum exploring her journey from the Great Smoky Mountains to global superstardom, plus a top-floor entertainment space named Jolene’s, and suddenly we’re mentally packing our bags.
A Nashville Stay With Dolly’s Personal Touch
Created in partnership with Dolly and Herschend, SongTeller Hotel features 240 signature rooms and suites, elevated dining, SongTeller Café and live entertainment inspired by her life and artistry.
And Dolly’s involvement went well beyond putting her name on the building.
Throughout development, she shared memories, reviewed details and helped make creative decisions for both the hotel and museum. Those personal contributions helped shape spaces built around her story and her connection to Nashville.
For fans who have spent years finding comfort, confidence or a little extra courage in Dolly’s music, that connection is a big part of the appeal.
The hotel also gives guests two places to make a night of it. Parton’s Live celebrates Dolly’s music and performance legacy, while Jolene’s offers an intimate live music and entertainment setting on the hotel’s top floor.
We have to hand it to Jolene: she’s still getting top billing.
The Museum Starts With the Night Dolly Was Born
Inside Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum, the story begins on January 19, 1946, the night Dolly was born, with Dolly herself introducing guests to her journey.
From there, visitors travel through her childhood in the Smokies, her early performing years, her rise through the Opry stages and the career that made her a music superstar and Hollywood icon.
The experience brings together music, memorabilia, fashion, film and television, while exploring the family, faith and philanthropy that have helped shape her life.
For longtime fans, it’s an opportunity to look beyond the songs they know by heart and spend time with the stories behind them. For newer fans, it offers a window into just how much ground Dolly has covered, and how firmly she has held onto her roots along the way.
Dolly and her team worked with creative and production partner AOA to translate her memories into immersive environments, making her own experiences central to the museum’s storytelling.
An Opening Celebration With a Meaningful Dolly Connection
The ribbon-cutting included children whose lives have been enriched by Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, bringing her commitment to books and childhood literacy into the opening celebration.
It was a fitting way to welcome guests to a destination dedicated to an artist whose influence reaches far beyond the stage.
Hotel General Manager Shannon Foster said the team hopes guests feel welcomed, inspired and connected from the moment they arrive. Museum Executive Director Rebecca Seaver described the opening as the realization of a dream years in the making, with the hope that visitors leave inspired to pursue dreams of their own.
That feels like a very Dolly souvenir to take home.
