On the same day she released her sophomore album I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me, Noah Cyrus took over The Ford Theater in Los Angeles for a breathtaking, one-night-only performance that was nothing short of spellbinding.

With soft florals, cascading greenery, and warm-toned lighting, the stage of the Ford Theater in Los Angeles was transformed into an enchanted garden — the perfect metaphor for the intimate, nature-rooted, and emotionally raw collection of songs that define Noah's newest body of work. Backed by a live band of eight instrumentalists, Noah delivered a stirring set that highlighted her evolution as an artist.
“I want this album to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia. That’s something that I feel so heavily when I listen to music. We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this collection of songs was made with that in mind,” Noah says.
Her signature smoky vocals, framed by layers of pedal steel, acoustic guitars, cello, and banjo, filled the outdoor amphitheater with a haunting beauty. Songs like “Apple Tree,” “With You,” and “Don’t Put It All On Me” (a heartfelt track written by her brother Braison and featuring Fleet Foxes' Robin Pecknold) pulled fans deeper into Noah’s world — one filled with memory, legacy, and longing.
A Duet That Bridges Generations: “New Country” feat. Blake Shelton
One of the night’s most talked-about moments came when Cyrus introduced a brand new track from the album, New Country, a duet with none other than country icon Blake Shelton. The song, a standout on the record, bridges traditional country sounds with a fresh indie-Americana edge — and represents a symbolic passing of the torch from one generation of country to the next. While introducing this song, Noah shared that Blake Shelton is one of the people who inspired the album as a whole.
The collaboration, already generating buzz across social platforms, pairs Noah’s ethereal tone with Shelton’s familiar grit, delivering a poignant meditation on belonging, roots, and transformation in a changing musical landscape.

A Family Affair
Throughout I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me, Noah pays homage to her family — from covering a song her father Billy Ray Cyrus wrote decades ago (“With You”), to recording a track penned by her brother, to threading Tennessee mountain imagery throughout the lyrics. It’s a record rooted in heritage but told from Noah’s unmistakably modern perspective — fearless, feminine, and fiercely independent.
“My dad is one of my biggest influences,” Noah says. “He turned me on to so many great songs and artists. My musical inspirations came from somewhere, and more often than not, it’s been him.”
