Matthew Wayne Releases Fresh, Resonant Track “Wrong Side Of The Bed”

Ever felt like you’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed, literally or metaphorically? If so, Matthew Wayne’s new song is just for you! Shortly after his one-year anniversary of moving to Nashville, the singer releases “Wrong Side Of The Bed” in an EP with two of his previous singles.

The soft and steady masterpiece opens with one of the most captivating guitar riffs. The tune tells the story of the push and pulls of being a lover. He acknowledges and embraces his vulnerability in the relatable lyrics - somehow, the track is heartbreaking and comforting at the same time.

“This song was special from top to bottom. From the first time I heard it, I couldn't get my mind off of it. It was so hard to get the opportunity to cut this song and when I did I put everything I could into it. The vibe in the studio the day we cut it had that magical feeling and when I went to do vocals for it, I took care with every word,” reflects Wayne.

Wayne’s fresh, ready-for-radio sound has already taken him so far. He currently has over half a million streams on Spotify, where he’s been included on prestigious editorial playlists like “Fresh Finds Country” and “New Music Friday Country.”
